Highlighting Malaria Research at SSMF

Last week, Johan Ankarklev was invited to share our recent successes at the yearly grant ceremony of the Swedish Society for Medical Research (SSMF). It was a great opportunity to highlight how malaria still affects millions worldwide and why our work is so important.

SSMF provides financial support to early-career medical researchers in Sweden, helping to nurture the next generation of scientists. Their grants aim to support promising projects that address key medical challenges, and their events bring together researchers to foster collaboration and share ideas.

Johan wasn’t alone at the event—he was joined by our collaborator, Nilmar Moretti, who’s visiting from Canada. It was a fun evening of science and networking!
