We're thrilled to share the next step in Franzi’s scientific journey! Having completed her PhD in the Ankarklev lab, where she focused on characterizing 

host-pathogen interplay during to Plasmodium infection in the liver, Franzi is now headed for the Treeck Lab in Portugal.

Her new mission? Toxoplasma research!! Armed with the cutting-edge Dual-PerturbSeq, Franziska will aim to uncover the secrets behind Toxoplasma effector proteins and their impact on host cells.

We're pumped for Franzi's next chapter and can't wait to see the Toxoplasma revelations she uncovers!
