From HIV and other viruses to Plasmodium and Toxoplasma, Fredrik has built his experience across labs including Seattle, Uppsala and and Stockholm.

Fredrik uses transcriptomic approaches to understand infectious disease pathogenesis. To identify relevant immune mechanisms, cell types and genes, he integrates large data sets from the public domain with in-house transcriptomic data.
